TremorScope
Sensor Hand

The TremorScope® uses a triaxial accelerometer to measure acceleration. This triaxial arrangement allows measurements to be taken in all three dimensions simultaneously without imposing restriction on the subject’s orientation.

A precision device, the TremorScope has 1 milli-g resolution and better than 0.05 Hz frequency resolution. It interfaces to any PC through a standard USB port which provides the power for the accelerometer and the microcontroller.

The TremorScope is housed in a 15 x 20 x 9 mm plastic case. It weighs only 3 grams and has a custom, flexible, lightweight cable to avoid affecting the acceleration measurements.

The Standard Load is a plastic box that may be comfortably held between the thumb and fingers with the hand parallel to the ground for tests that require a “Load” condition. The Standard Load weighs approximately 135 grams and is included with the Tremorometer® System.
